Duas visões distintas. Se complementam de forma bastante indireta. Sobre a primeira, não sei se concordo. Com relação à segunda, seria o meu sonho poder trabalhar de um jeito mais livre, mas um professor não trabalha sozinho, ele precisa da colaboração dos que estão à sua frente.

When a professor spends hours in class going over concepts that are clearly covered in the textbook, I think you have an obligation to repeat the part about the debt and say, “perhaps you could assign this as homework and we could have an actual conversation in class…”
